EDM Library & Design Solution Architect

About the role

This role is a member of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for developing design methodologies to leverage and expand the use of Siemens EDA Xpedition products. The candidate will communicate with customers to enhance their design capabilities and meet their Time-To-Market (TTM) goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop design methodologies using Siemens EDA Xpedition tools
• Consult and present to customers on how Siemens EDA Xpedition tools can optimize their leading-edge technologies
• Identify gaps in customer design flows and suggest improvements to increase design capability and efficiency
• Liaise with EBS product division, particularly in advanced development, customizations, and maintenance of CLS generated applications

Requirements

• Strong knowledge in PCB HW Development Methodology
• Strong knowledge in SW development
• Strong knowledge in EDM design & library methodology, tools, and design flow
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, programming, and trouble-shooting skills
• Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition tools
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, VBScript)
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java)

Qualifications

• BS degree with strong engineering background
• MS preferred

Pay

Competitive salary range: 146,700 - 293,400
