EDM Library & Design Solution Architect

About the role

This role involves developing design methodologies to leverage and expand the use of Siemens EDA Xpedition products. You will consult and present to customers to highlight how these tools can enhance the performance of their leading-edge designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate design methodologies using Siemens EDA Xpedition tools.
• Identify and address gaps in customer design flows to improve their design capabilities and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the EBS product division, particularly in advanced development, customizations, and maintenance of CLS generated applications.
• Work closely with customers to understand and accommodate their IT architectures, databases, and other systems.
• Utilize strong programming and scripting skills to support the development and maintenance of Siemens EDA Xpedition tools.
• Guide new recruits in support of the overall System Practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a strong engineering background.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge in PCB HW Development Methodology.
• Strong knowledge in SW development.
• Strong knowledge in both EDM design & library methodology, tools, and design flow.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, programming, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, VBScript.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively independently and collaboratively.

Pay

Competitive salary range: 146,700 - 293,400 depending on experience and qualifications.
