Responsibilities
- Partner with outside counsel and review hosting vendors to ensure the end-to-end eDiscovery processes for assigned matters flow as defensibly, consistently, and efficiently as possible.
- Identify, extract, and classify required review sets using complex query filters, analytics, and AI;
- Remediate corrupt, encrypted, or otherwise inaccessible content;
- Maintain detailed tracking logs and statistics regarding throughput.
- Continuously maintain evergreen processes as platform technology evolves. Proactively ascertain weak points and devise solutions. Identify and disseminate updates and workarounds across the team so discovery obligations can ultimately be met.
- Manage data retention operations and processes, from a platform level to individual workflows.
- Partner with the Microsoft Purview team and other product groups on eDiscovery requirements. Provide detailed voice-of-the-customer usage scenarios and feedback, identifying product blocking issues, workarounds, and opportunities to improve. Strategically conceive and execute critical test passes and comprehensively document results.
- Partner with Engineering to drive custom development and infrastructural build-out.
- Evangelize and showcase Purview eDiscovery capabilities via direct customer engagements and industry events.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- - Master's Degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering
- - OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering
- - OR equivalent experience.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- - Minimum 10 years of direct System Administrator experience with common eDiscovery tools (e.g., Relativity, Nuix, Brainspace, etc.)
- - RCA certification
- - Direct experience with the Relativity aiR suite and/or other GenAI capabilities for document review
- - Experience with process automation and scripting languages – e.g., PowerShell, SQL, Python
- - Demonstrated ability to devise reliable solutions within the limitations of the available technology platforms in your toolset
- - Firsthand experience, or at least conversant familiarity, with the eDiscovery and Compliance capabilities in M365/Purview
- - In-depth familiarity with the litigation support ecosystem, tools, and vendors
- - Proven analytical and technical skills
- - Meticulous attention to detail and proven organizational skills
- - Ability to work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, and able to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines
- - Microsoft platform proficiency – especially Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure
