About the Role

Noyo is rapidly expanding its carrier network by extending its platform to easily integrate any carrier that can support the EDI 834 standard. Noyo provides a modern API-driven experience for its customers to connect with nearly any insurance carrier. The Operations Team is responsible for building out the architecture and applications to support this momentum.

We are hiring a Contract EDI Analyst for our Operations team to support our carrier network expansion during Open Enrollment, the busiest time of year for our customers. This is a high-impact, temporary contract position with potential for conversion into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining carrier connections, collaborating cross-functionally to provide exceptional customer experiences, and advocating for improvements that increase operational efficiency. You will report directly to the Operations Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain EDI carrier templates to facilitate seamless electronic data interchange between Noyo and carrier partners.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of EDI implementations, including file configuration, testing coordination, and facilitating all related correspondence with external partners.
  • Maintain active data connections to ensure enrollment changes and updates are processed timely and accurately.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality resolutions to customer requests and data issues.
  • Triage file and data transmission errors while partnering with Product and Engineering on long-term automated solutions.
  • Identify and analyze operational trends to advocate for process and product improvements that drive automation and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Develop, document, and maintain operational processes and cross-functional workflows alongside Product and Customer Experience teams.

What We Are Looking For

  • You have in-depth knowledge of EDI protocols, standards, and best practices, with specific expertise in ANSI X12 834 transactions.
  • You have familiarity with JSON and the ability to read and understand Python or a comparable scripting language.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex technical details in a digestible format for all audiences.
  • You have meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality and accuracy.
  • You're a resourceful self-starter with exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • You bring creative problem-solving skills and an ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • You're enthusiastic about learning, driving impact, and growing within the organization.

Nice To Have, But Not Required

  • You have experience working in HR tech, group benefits, health insurance, or a related B2B SaaS domain.
  • You have prior experience managing data integrations during peak Open Enrollment periods.

What Success Looks Like

  • You successfully onboard and validate new EDI 834 carrier connections with high accuracy during peak Open Enrollment.
  • You resolve integration file errors rapidly, minimizing downtime and maintaining data integrity across carrier networks.
  • You establish collaborative working relationships across Operations, Engineering, Product, and Customer Experience teams to streamline operational workflows.
