About the role

The Fairmount School is seeking an Ed Tech I, II, or III, Self Contained/Choices position. The ideal candidate will have authorization as an Educational Technician III and knowledge of behavior-management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior plans and individual education plans
• Work in an elementary school setting
• Work in a program for children with emotional disabilities and Autism
• Use instructional strategies and techniques in literacy and mathematics
• Work in a team-approach environment
• Assist with toileting (if necessary)
• Learn and use physical restraint and Safety Care strategies

Requirements

• Knowledge of behavior-management strategies
• Experience working in an elementary school setting
• Experience working in a program for children with emotional disabilities and Autism

Pay

$21.47 - $28.36 hourly, depending on certification level and experience.

Schedule

8:45 am - 3:15 pm, 6 hours daily.
