About the role
M.S.A.D. #4 is seeking openings for Ed Tech positions in Special Education for the 2026/2027 school year. Starting pay ranges from $19.25 to $23.00 per hour based on position, years of experience, and education.
Responsibilities
- Support students with special needs through technology integration
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement technology-based educational plans
- Assist in the training and support of other staff members in the use of technology
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures related to technology use in the classroom
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Experience working with individuals with special needs
- Knowledge of assistive technologies and software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Maine driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field preferred
- Experience in a special education setting
- Knowledge of assistive technologies and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
