Economic Development Director
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Collects and receives cash, cashier checks or money order payments.
- Issues receipts.
- Links receipt with mail; sorts and distributes to officers throughout the Department.
- Totals daily receipts and balances with computer totals.
- Affords assistance to mail room personnel in processing non-money mail.
- Prepares exception letters for money orders or cashier checks.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year related work experience.
- Familiar with keyboarding, word processing and/or spreadsheet software.
- The ability to follow verbal and written instructions and exhibit good communication skills.
- Good math skills.
- The ability to operate standard and automated office equipment.
- The ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality.
Physical Demands And Work Environment & Other Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, lift, grasp, climb, push, pull, and bend.
- Works in a standard office environment.
