Echocardiography Technologist (Per Diem, Day)

About the role

Performs comprehensive echocardiographic exams, including M-mode, 2D, Doppler, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms, supporting physicians and staff to ensure high-quality procedures aligned with IAC standards. Assists patients by reviewing histories, explaining tests, and escorting them to examination areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain echocardiographic equipment
• Log data for accurate records and maintain images in the EHR
• Ensure safety through equipment disinfection and monitor equipment performance
• Participate in on-call duties as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited echocardiography program
• At least one year of experience in echocardiography
• Credentialing through CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) preferred

Skills

• Effective communication and attention to detail
• Knowledge of cardiac function and testing procedures
• Proficiency in medical record keeping and equipment use

Schedule
