Echocardiography Technologist (Per-Diem)

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo tests, including exercise and pharmacological procedures.
• Capture and analyze digital cardiac images, recognizing pathology and adjusting exams as needed.
• Respond to urgent cases and communicate critical findings to physicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology preferred.
• Minimum one year of echocardiogram experience; two years preferred.
• Completion of an accredited cardiac ultrasound program and valid RDCS or RCCS license.
• Registry eligible per ARDMS or CCI standards.
• Current BLS certification from an approved provider.

Qualifications
