Echocardiography Technologist - Per Diem
Job Duties
- Performs and processes echocardiographic examinations including two-dimensional, three dimensional, M-mode, Doppler, and special procedures and exercise techniques.
- Performs emergency procedures when necessary; transports equipment and patients.
- Affords assistance with special procedures including transesophageal echocardiography, intraoperative echocardiography, pericardiocentesis, and contrast echocardiography.
- Analyzes and files echocardiographic data utilizing digital computer analysis systems.
- Affords assistance in developing and maintaining internal training programs and in technical instruction of echocardiographic techniques.
- Affords assistance in approved research activities.
- Performs mobile Echo service as directed.
- Interprets and follows policies and guidelines to define procedures and meet goals and deadlines.

Education
Graduate from Specialty Training Program- (Required)
Experience
Minimum of 2 years-Relevant experience* (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s)
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International Certification required within 6 months of hire - Default Issuing Body
- Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
- Certified Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer within 6 months of hire - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
