Echocardiographer Supervisor
Overview
The Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the department and supervises the team members assigned to the department, and the scheduling of patients, personnel, and work progress. Promotes a safe work environment, incorporates national patient safety initiatives, oversees team member orientation, and performs annual performance reviews/evaluations. Participates in quality performance improvement activities, in-service education, customer service programs, and maintains complex equipment and inventory in order to optimize quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Education: Program Graduate, Accredited Sonography Program (Required) or Associates Degree, Accredited Sonography Program (Preferred) or Bachelors Degree, Accredited Sonography Program (Preferred)
- Experience: 5-6 years imaging experience (Required) 3-4 years leadership experience (Preferred)
- Licenses and Certifications: CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire (Required), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer with an Adult Echocardiography specialty (RDCS-AE) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Upon Hire (Required) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Upon Hire (Required), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification in Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Upon Hire (Preferred)
Pay
Hiring Range $38.60 - $53.08/Hourly. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
