About the role

Mission Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear. In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalized, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiographic examinations in accordance with American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines and Neko clinical protocols.
  • Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinical team to incorporate echo findings into full-body preventive health assessments.
  • Participate in regular cardiology MDT meetings and contribute findings that inform care pathways.
  • Liaise directly with our consulting cardiologist when escalation is necessary.
  • Follow Neko's escalation protocols consistently and document findings in the clinical record accurately.
  • Basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment to support a high quality and frictionless member experience.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities including audit and peer review.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of echo protocols as the US clinical model develops.

Requirements

  • ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification in adult echocardiography, enabling independent reporting without routine cardiologist co-signature.
  • Minimum two years of post-certification independent reporting experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and interpret a full range of TTE studies, including Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS), required.
  • Strong communication skills — able to explain findings clearly to members without medical backgrounds and to clinical colleagues.
  • Commitment to high clinical standards and active engagement in ongoing professional development.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience

  • With 3D echocardiographic imaging.
  • Familiarity with integrating echo findings into broader preventive or longitudinal health assessments.
  • Experience in a high-volume or technology-forward clinical setting.
  • Prior involvement in clinical research, protocol development, or health technology initiatives.
