About the role

Ebay Live is redefining the shopping experience by bringing real-time, interactive, and curated live events to buyers worldwide. This role supports and oversees the end-to-end production of these events, ensuring seamless execution and engaging viewer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support and oversee the end-to-end production of eBay Live shopping events, ensuring seamless execution and engaging viewer experiences.
• Support in creation of processes, playbooks, and cross-functional shareouts regarding Live programming.
• Manage live video and audio production, including RTMP streaming operations involving OBS Studio, HDMI/SDI/NDI camera operations, and the native eBay Live Platform, networking, and RTMP streaming setups.
• Collaborate with category managers, sellers, and hosts to curate compelling live shopping events aligned with eBay’s e-commerce goals.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics such as GMV, viewer engagement, returning buyers, and event saves to optimize event strategies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and quality of eBay Live events.
• Work with marketing teams to develop pre-show promotions, push notifications, and event branding to improve reach and audience engagement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in live video production, event management, or e-commerce content production.
• Strong understanding of live streaming technologies, including video switching, OBS Studio, RTMP setups, and NDI networking.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with sellers, hosts, and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple live productions, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Experience analyzing performance metrics and using data-driven insights to refine live shopping formats and improve user experience.
• Passion for live commerce, digital media, and delivering engaging and innovative shopping experiences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communications, Media Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing software.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and analytics tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below: $86,800 - $150,100 Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
