About the role

As an EarlyPay Vendor Sales Account Executive, you will enable the vendors of PaymentWorks customers on the EarlyPay ACH payment method. The right candidate will be a precise and factual communicator, an excellent listener who is a self-motivated, natural problem solver, and who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment selling a product that solves a real-world problem.

Responsibilities

  • Enable automated email outreach to vendors in the PaymentWorks network, informing them of the value available when paid by EarlyPay ACH.
  • Field inbound inquiries from vendors who have questions about the EarlyPay program or those who would like to enroll.
  • Engage in high-volume outbound calls to vendors (60-80 calls a day).
  • Conduct product demonstrations and engage in consultative conversations with vendors to drive EarlyPay ACH adoption by our customers’ vendor communities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product, EarlyPay, Payments, Operations, Customer Success) to ensure smooth onboarding, enablement, and vendor growth.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting in HubSpot.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the existing customer base, driving account expansion and long-term customer value.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and ambition to grow in your career in Sales or Business Development.
  • Technical aptitude to master our CRM system.
  • Keenly developed competitive nature with the ability to overcome common objections.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to lead a conversation through open-ended questions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google applications.
  • Good organizational skills and effective multitasking ability.
  • Minimum of six months of business development or an equivalent role where you demonstrated the ability to meet and exceed your goals (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Benefits

  • Proven market need for our product, which stops payments fraud.
  • Small, nimble, and fast-moving team environment.
  • Respect for work-life balance with flexible work schedules and unlimited PTO.
  • Every employee has a meaningful impact—no one is a cog in a machine.

Applicants must pass a background check prior to employment.
