About the role

The Early Stage Collections Specialist Supervisor oversees a team of Early Stage Collections Specialists, managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities including training, guiding, and addressing complaints.
  • Oversee daily operations, communicate daily goals, and address changes and fluctuations.
  • Aid Early Stage Collections Specialists with escalations, resolve issues, and review productivity reports.
  • Perform loan file audits, assist with alternative payment options, and train staff on new processes.
  • Conduct monthly quality control audits, review Call Monitoring reports, and work with staff to resolve issues.
  • Develop call strategies, conduct side-by-side training sessions, and attend management meetings.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college courses in management/leadership training, writing, communication, or specialized courses in mortgage banking industry preferred.
  • Five-plus (5+) years of related experience, preferably in collections/call center environments.
  • Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Suite.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant industry-specific software packages and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand and express complex problems, organize thoughts, and prioritize work.
  • Basic math skills and oral communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

The approved Target Pay range for this position is $50,000.00/yr to $65,000.00/yr plus a monthly incentive bonus.

Schedule

This is a hybrid schedule position.
