About the role
North Bay Regional Center (NBRC) provides advocacy, services, support, and care coordination to children and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties. The position of Early Intervention Service Coordinator supports infants and toddlers (0 to 3 years of age) eligible for Early Intervention Services under California Early Start program mandates.
Responsibilities
- Assist eligible children and their families with the coordination of other resources
- Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP)
- Participate in periodic reviews of the IFSP every six months or more frequently if conditions warrant
- Take an active role in transition services for toddlers
- Provide service coordination to assist families in accessing services necessary to enhance the development of the child and the capacity of the family to meet the needs of the child
- Participate in educational and prevention outreach activities
- Serve as a liaison to other community organizations that work with populations at high risk for having a developmental disability
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work or a related field from an accredited university
- Credential as a Speech Pathologist or Nurse with a PHN or PNP certification
- Three years of experience in working with children in early intervention agencies and resources
- Bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience in a professional position at NBRC or another California Regional Center with child case carrying responsibility can substitute for the above
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- Ability to provide transportation during working hours and after-hours emergencies or access to another form of reliable transportation which meets requirements
- Ability to provide minimum legal automobile liability insurance
- Flexibility in work hours is required to meet the needs of the regional center constituency

Pay
Salary Range: $70,668 – $77,916 with opportunities for 5% increases annually.
Schedule
This position will be primarily based in the office; however, a hybrid remote work schedule may also be available.
