About the role

Bilingual Early Intervention Service Coordinator positions are available in Summit County. This role involves providing early intervention services to children under three years old who may have developmental delays or disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to assess child development and provide family support services
• Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized service plans
• Provide training and resources to families on topics such as speech therapy, physical therapy, and behavior management
• Participate in team meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices and new research in early childhood development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Experience working with infants and toddlers
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to early intervention services

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with families
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Pass a background check and criminal history review
