E&I Maintenance Co-op / Intern
About the role
Sylvamo, a major pulp and paper producer, is seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Technician Assistants for the Eastover, SC Mill. This position will assist Journeyman-level E&I Technicians in routine maintenance work and perform duties independently.
Responsibilities
- Electrical circuit troubleshooting & repair
- Conduit & wire installation
- Lighting repair
- PLC troubleshooting & repair
- Drive troubleshooting & repair
- Instrumentation & control valve calibration, troubleshooting & repair
Requirements
Minimum qualifications: Actively Enrolled in an Electrical-Instrumentation Technology curriculum (or an equivalent, recognized Electrical & Instrumentation Technology Program).
Preferred qualifications: Working experience in a team-based environment, demonstrated troubleshooting skills, operating in a team environment.
Qualifications
Knowledge of DCS, PLC, Electric drive, Process Control and Instrumentation, and power distribution systems, Robotics, and Industrial Safety.

The salary is $28.93 per hour, and the anticipated start date is September 2026.
