About the role

In this manufacturing role, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market while prioritizing safety, mutual respect, and human dignity. This position is primarily accountable for electrical maintenance support at the Loudon Mill, working on a specific asset and addressing maintenance needs as required.

  • Maintain equipment associated with the production, packaging, and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Work on a range of technology and equipment in a clean, well-lit environment.
  • Diagnose and resolve a variety of urgent challenges and problems (every day is different).

Maintenance Partners typically work 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week (Monday–Friday), with evening and weekend call-in support as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform work in a safe manner and report unsafe acts and conditions; assist in correcting them.
  • Reinforce safe work behaviors among team members.
  • Demonstrate technical skill proficiency.
  • Ensure process equipment and work areas meet established housekeeping standards.
  • Actively participate in task analysis and process-specific maintenance training.
  • Participate in activities and work groups driving continuous improvement in the operating team, unit, and mill.
  • Develop and demonstrate skills and knowledge about the manufacturing process.
  • Learn and apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Maintain constructive and effective working relationships with team members and partners from other process areas.
  • Proactively address barriers to effective cooperation or performance.
  • Exhibit flexibility by supporting site needs, including non-day shifts (nights, weekends) and call-ins as required.
  • Communicate concisely, completely, and in a timely manner about business issues.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • State and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED, or Grade 12 certificate.
  • Three or more years of skilled electrical maintenance work within a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
  • Basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and good math skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment assessment, drug screening, and background check.
  • Ability to pass a post-offer/pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
  • Ability to work on elevated platforms, catwalks, scaffolding, and in confined spaces.

Post-high school vocational training in E&I technology is desirable. Specific trade experience in general electrical maintenance, PLC programming, instrumentation, DCS, and low to medium voltage electrical work is a plus.

Pay

Starting hourly wage: $33.33 USD. This role is eligible for overtime pay and pay increases within the first year. Note that the stated pay rate applies to US locations only.
