POSITION SUMMARY
The E-Commerce Site Merchandising Manager will take full ownership of the digital sales channel, driving revenue and margin performance through proactive leadership and operational excellence. Champion a culture of exceptional customer experience while leading a high-performing team to execute and optimize every aspect of the ecommerce lifecycle. This role is accountable for positioning the team to achieve rapid, high-impact growth in a dynamic marketplace.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead product research and competitive analysis to expand product offering with high-opportunity items.
- Develop scalable systems and procedures to support future growth in both products and platforms.
- Identify and plan for expansion into new marketplaces or ecommerce platforms.
- Oversee the creation and management of all listings, ensuring accuracy and completeness across titles, attributes, A+ content and SEO.
- Own pricing strategy across all product categories to maintain margin targets and remain competitive.
- Collaborate across departments to align e-commerce efforts with inventory, procurement, marketing, sales and financial planning.
- Manage and mentor the ecommerce team members with a roadmap for team expansion.
- Utilize external and internal tools like Helium 10, Canva, Keepa, ChatGPT and internal sales data to track trends, monitor performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Ensure operational excellence and exceptional customer experience.
- Manage and oversee the shuttlebus parts catalog on ecommerce platforms; controlling pricing, inventory levels, listing optimization and product lifecycle management processes.
- Assist in the sales of high risk of obsolescence and non-traditional sales inventory (HRO/NTS).
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in e-commerce, sales, marketing, or business administration.
- 3-6 years of e-commerce experience, ideally with Amazon as the primary channel.
- Proven ability to manage and grow a high-performing team.
- Knowledge of bus, coach, school buses, class 8 trucks, agricultural or construction equipment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, business analytics, and organizational skills.
- Experience using data and reporting to make business decisions and improve performance.
- Strong grasp of listing optimization, keyword research, pricing strategies, SEO and content creation.
- Must be proactive; always takes the initiative and creates demand for NFI's products.
- Comfortable using SaaS tools to drive data-backed decisions and streamline workflows.
- Self-motivated with strong sense of urgency to complete tasks and projects on time, on budget and results driven.
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
