About the role

Responsible for the implementation and management of an ecommerce operation, developing and driving online strategies to help increase sales and profitability of a company’s ecommerce activities. Ecommerce executives also play a vital role in customer service, working to ensure customer satisfaction levels remain high.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate order processing, delivery, and returns of customer orders.
  • Oversee all related platforms performance and functionality.
  • Plan and execute digital campaigns to increase traffic and optimize ROI.
  • Prepare insights reports and data mining outcomes.
  • Monitor and enhance platform performance and user experience on a timely basis.
  • Monitor and report competitors’ activities.
  • Follow up on 3rd party platforms (product availability, pricing, promotions, and performance).
  • Analyze data and generate reports to track e-commerce performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze various data to deliver data-driven strategies and achieve KPIs.
  • Oversee the restocking of inventory to ensure customers have access to desired products.
  • Use tracking tools such as Google Analytics to develop reports, review performance, and track goals.
  • Develop digital strategy: work with management to analyze company objectives and vision, then create a digital marketing strategy to guide upcoming campaigns and projects.
  • Develop content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing page development.
  • Manage all online activity related to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, A/B testing, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement ecommerce strategy to improve website performance.
  • Work with developers to improve website speed.
  • Work with the marketing team or manage digital marketers to improve quality and traffic acquisition.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a digital and e-commerce related field.
  • Proficiency in running Google Ads and digital media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok).
  • Graduate with a degree in marketing, management, or computer science.
  • Email marketing knowledge.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar to track and analyze e-commerce performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with online marketing tools, including social media advertising, email marketing, SEO, and SEM.
  • In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques to maintain performance and mitigate potential issues.
  • Experienced in managing and improving websites and customer experience.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce platforms: experienced in using WooCommerce.
  • Confidence developing and overseeing retail and eCommerce-focused digital marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of attribution modeling, website speed optimization, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimization, traffic analysis, and reporting tools.
