Dual Rate Dealer/ Assistant Pit Supervisor

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Exchange cash for chips
• Deal the games (i.e. blackjack, three card poker, pai gow etc.) efficiently and in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Provide continuous quality entertainment and service to guests
• Protect the integrity of the game and table inventory
• Operate the table games software
• Maintain table activity and guest play ensuring compliance with Title 31 guidelines
• Correct dealer errors and settle player disputes
• Initiate and verify fills and credits for tables
• Issue comps following established guidelines

Knowledge And Certification, Skills And Abilities Required

• Knowledge and Certification: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience, 6 months table games experience
• Preferred Knowledge and Certification: Previous supervisory experience, Proven knowledge of basic strategy and (+) and (-) count system
• Required Skills: Accurate and detail-oriented, Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, Excellent problem solving skills, Above average math skills
• Required Abilities: Ability to work fast and efficiently, Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene, Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner, Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand for long periods throughout the day with some walking
• Must be able to reach and twist routinely
• Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
• Must have the ability to independently lift up to 5 pounds infrequently
• Must have the ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
• Must have good eye hand coordination
• Must have the ability to deal at least 350 hands per hour

Working Environment

• Work is performed primarily on the gaming floor, which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
• Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
• High volume direct public contact
