Essential Job Functions (Dealer)

  • Deals various table games.
  • Handles currency and chips.
  • Protects bankroll.
  • Follows house rules and dealing procedures.
  • Maintains vigilance over the layout at all times.
  • Must be able to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities during emergencies or otherwise, as directed by the Marine and/or Security departments.

Essential Job Functions (Floor Supervisor)

  • Supervises dealers within designated areas of the pit.
  • Issues markers and credit.
  • Orders fills and credits.
  • Verifies financial transactions at tables.
  • Monitors betting and playing actions.
  • Arbitrates customer disputes.
  • Rates customer play.
  • Establishes customer base.

Other Job Functions

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Provide service to internal and external customers that aligns with the company's S.T.A.R. culture (Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation, and Recognition).
  • Report any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity to the on-site IGC Agent, Security, and Supervisor on Duty in accordance with the company's Self-Reporting Policy.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience Required: Three years prior experience as a Dealer.
  • Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills, Knowledge, and/or Abilities Required: Thorough knowledge of several games including at least two main games (Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, or Poker); effective communication skills.
  • Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 2.
  • Specialized Requirements: Ability to move around the casino floor during the entire shift; ability to monitor four to six tables simultaneously; ability to hear dealer calls from up to four tables away.
