Dual-Rate Dealer/Supervisor (Full Time)

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond to visual and oral signals from customers and fellow employees.
• Pitch cards, handle money efficiently, and handle chips in a professional manner.
• Conduct gambling games such as Blackjack, Craps, or Roulette, following all applicable rules and regulations.
• Manipulate cards, chips, and gaming devices such as roulette wheels and craps sticks accurately.
• Keep track of the game and players’ actions.
• Perform quick basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to accept bets, pay winners, and collect from losers.
• Notify the Pit Supervisor of any irregularities in the game.
• Advise the Pit Supervisor of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game and of any important relevant factors regarding specific players.
• Aid customers in playing and ensure adherence to established rules, policies and procedures.
• Maintain effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests and employees.
• Provide personal attention and assistance to customers by verifying customer winnings and explaining gaming rules and regulations.
• Act to keep customers satisfied and motivated to return regardless of if they win or lose.
• Wear and maintain all uniforms properly, including nametag and gaming license.
• Maintain alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of casino operations at all times.
• Verify customers are 21 years of age or older.
• Perform dual rate supervisor duties, including monitoring game play and settling customer disputes in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
• Forceful and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
• Prolonged periods of standing, high levels of manual dexterity for handling chips and cards, and the ability to maintain physical and mental stamina in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to a smoke-filled environment, loud noise levels, and varying light, heat, or cold.
