About the Role
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Table Games, including dealing cards, selling chips, paying customers, collecting bets, and verifying fills/credits.
Responsibilities
- When acting as a Floor Supervisor:
- Adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, including Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Customer Identification requirements.
- Monitor the performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to casino policies and procedures.
- Approve and oversee count table inventory at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Facilitate replenishment of chips.
- Supervise issuance of cards.
- Instruct personnel on table assignments.
- Handle minor guest complaints.
- Maintain integrity of Table Games.
- Assist Shift Manager with gaming operations.
- Perform duties assigned by Shift Manager.
- When acting as a Dealer:
- Adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, including Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Customer Identification requirements.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Poker and 21 Dealer.
Supervisory Responsibilities
When acting as a Floor Supervisor:
- Directly supervise dealers.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Provide input on performance appraisals; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
Requirements
- One or more years' experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must pass Dealer audition and proficiency test.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Must possess the ability to differentiate chip colors and appropriate values of each.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may escalate in the casino environment.
- Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
- Must have sufficient dexterity of hand to use office equipment, including computers, calculators, and multi-line telephones.
