About the role
This data-heavy position works closely with dual credit partners, faculty, and the dual credit team to ensure students are prepared to onboard and be successful throughout their dual credit academic career. This role includes behind-the-scenes work regarding prospective, current, and recent dual credit students with the dual credit program at BCTC.
Responsibilities
- Completing data entry related to dual credit course building. This includes but is not limited to working with dual credit advisors and the college course scheduler and requesting schedule details necessary for review.
- Routing instructor credentials to academic departments for dual credit instructor approvals. This includes but is not limited to working with dual credit advisors, academic coordinators/AD’s/Deans, and tracking and following up on details necessary for review.
- Finalize eligibility communications with potential instructors.
- Serve as a conduit between students and DualEnroll for application and enrollment; between students and BCTC technology services for BlackBoard and UserAccounts.
- Provide outreach to secondary partners regarding dual credit needs (class information, student information, etc.).
- Serve as a liaison with dual credit instructors and secondary partners to address questions related to account set ups, dual credit instructor responsibilities/processes, student record completion, and scholarships.
- Aid the Assistant Director of Advising & Dual Credit to address KCTCS/CPE clean up reports and waiver/scholarship applications.
- Review and audit waiver/scholarship applications throughout the academic year to ensure accuracy.
- Take the lead role in the Momentum Scholarship process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
