About the role

Arc Human Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional Floater to support multiple homes in Bridgeville, Baldwin, and Carnegie, PA. The position offers $18.50 per hour with a $3,500 sign‑on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety of program participants
• Provide varying levels of personal care including cooking, cleaning, transportation, community engagement, dispensing medications, supporting goals, and accurate documentation of care
• Assist in development of independent living skills, behavior strategies, and self‑advocacy
• Prepare participants to become more independent in their homes and communities
• Be flexible and willing to work at a variety of homes in the region

Qualifications

• Experience helpful but not required – paid training provided
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
• Ability to pass background checks, physical, and TB test (all company‑paid)
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lb and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lb
