DSP Floater 23.50 per Hour 2-11pm

About the role

Full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) Floater position with a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, with shifts between 2pm and 11pm. Floaters work in varying locations throughout St. Charles and St. Louis Counties. Days worked remain consistent, but Floater must have the flexibility to adjust assigned locations as needed with little to no notice.

Qualifications

• 1+ years full-time experience supporting individuals with I/DD
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass all background checks and required classes
• Current CPR/FA and Level 1 Med Administration Certs
• Flexibility and reliability
• Kind, patient, compassionate, and respectful
• Excellent communication skills
• Floaters must be able to work in all homes throughout St. Charles and St. Louis Counties
• Floaters are responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with all staff, clients, and guardians

Responsibilities

• Complete all required documentation to include medication record, daily notes, progress on client goals and outcomes, and financial transactions
• Support each individual so that s/he will feel a sense of self-determination, security, and have an opportunity to have meaningful relationships with others in their community
• Assist clients with daily life activities including personal care/hygiene, household chores, shopping, and recreational and social activities
• Provide companionship and emotional support to each individual served

Pay

$23.50 per hour, paid weekly, with 36 hours guaranteed
