About the role

The Driver, CDL-A is responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products.
• Ensure all deliveries are made safely, timely, and in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate and interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and company.

Dedicated Shuttle Driver Responsibilities

• Transport empty trailers to Operating Company warehouse locations.
• Deliver full trailers with various products to domicile/shuttle yard locations.
• Drive a tandem trailer, tractor trailer, and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Ensure safe and timely transportation in accordance with DOT regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Tractor/Trailer driving experience (for experienced roles).
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure a new one.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment (e.g., two-wheeler, lift gate) to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight (10-90 pounds).

Schedule

Class A Delivery Driver:
Monday – Friday
Dispatch between 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM
4-day work week
Optional overtime available

Dedicated Shuttle Driver:
Sunday – Thursday Nights
Dispatch between 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Doubles Endorsement preferred

Pay

Class A Delivery Driver:
$75,000 – $80,000 annually
$6,000 Sign-On Bonus
$1,000 Annual Retention Bonus

Dedicated Shuttle Driver:
$24/hour (averaging about $275 per day)
$4,000 Sign-On Bonus
