Driver License Station Supervisor

Schedule

Tuesday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. & Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

$27.73 per hour

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises lower ranking examiners and/or support personnel at a district level
• Schedules, trains, and evaluates employees assigned to the district
• Oversees the daily operations of the facilities
• Conducts written, oral, and over-the-road license testing
• Investigates complaints, documents facts relating to said complaints, and issues discipline
• Interacts with the public on a daily basis as the representative of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles

Requirements

Option 1:

• 36 months of training or experience in laws and signs applicable for operation of motorized vehicles, including commercial vehicles, and Bureau of Motor Vehicles’ policies and procedures governing testing for and issuance of driver licenses and commercial vehicle licenses
• 1 year of experience in supervisory principles and techniques or providing work direction and training to other employees
• Valid Ohio Class ‘D’ Driver License

Option 2:

• 12 months of experience as Driver License Examiner 2 (Lead Worker), 24333
• Valid Ohio Class ‘D’ Driver License

Option 3:

• 12 months of experience as CDL Field Representative 24332
• 12 months of experience in providing work direction and training to other employees
• Valid Ohio Class ‘D’ Driver License

Option 4:

• 12 months of experience as Driver Examination Field Representative 24334
• 12 months of experience in providing work direction and training to other employees
• Valid Ohio Class ‘D’ Driver License

Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
