Drafter

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Complete assigned projects on-time and accurately;
• Follow directions, scope and procedures provided by supervising team member and/or managers;
• Perform general arrangement, site layout, and civil/structural drafting assignments utilizing AutoCAD 2D and 3D drawing techniques;
• With training, read and interpret engineering drawings, drawing scales, and specifications;
• Utilize sketches, notes, and other input material to generate drawings;
• Identify and report changes and errors to supervising team member;
• Responsible for accuracy, attention to detail, and the quality of the work produced while following methods of continuous improvement.

Education/Certification

• Technical/Vocational degree preferred

Required Knowledge & Experience

• 0-2 years of design experience preferred

Skills/Abilities

• Possess excellent computer skills utilizing MS Office and AutoCAD (v.2020 or newer)
• 2D drafting skills are required, with 3D ability preferred
• Basic geometric, and trigonometric skills required

Physical Activities & Requirements of This Position

• Travel required as necessary to acquire field measurements and understand drafting scope required for projects.
• Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
