Drafter
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) of Huck Installation Equipment.
- Create engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing.
- Prepare required engineering notices and record prints.
- Create design specifications, documentation, material lists and BOMs.
- Create layout drawings as required to support design and engineering efforts.
- Create TCX’s (inspection support drawings used with comparator).
- Operate 3D CAD and related equipment such as plotters and printers.
- Build prototypes and equipment and provide feedback on design.
- Conduct experiments, run diagnostics and collect and analyze prototype testing data.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Associates degree. Preferably in drafting or equivalent.
- Experience: Three (3) years’ experience drafting in a mechanical engineering group using 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design). NX Preferred.
- Basic Qualifications: Experience in product development or testing or an equivalent combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the specific duties of the job such as those listed above.
