Role and Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of operation of different types of process equipment with varying degrees of automation
• Comprehend and follow processes control instructions and/or formula recipes and procedures (including completing paperwork)
• Responsible for quality of products, ensuring that the correct amounts of dough are produced for production
• Working knowledge of all sanitary practices as they pertain to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and equipment washouts
• Cook with Production personnel to successfully transfer product to the production lines
• Preparation of raw materials for processing
• Ensure dough and shortening temperature meets standard requirements
• Absorb and assist in cleaning, maintaining and inventory of filling material storage areas
• Ability to use a manual pallet jack and stacker lift for retrieval of dough making materials
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid photo ID
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to clearly and effectively complete necessary documentation, and write business correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• The employee understands the importance of food safety- Legality, Safety, Quality and Authenticity of the product
• Any issues noticed or suspected are brought to the attention of management immediately
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay and Benefits

• California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Washington, and New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $16.50 to $26.45 per hour.
• Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
