DOT Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Inspects, repairs, fills and loads cylinders.
• Handles and maintains flow of materials and products under safety guidelines.
• Scrapes and paints cylinders and tanks as needed.
• Maintains service center office, plant and yard for a professional appearance.
• Promotes safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1+ years of related work experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• A genuine commitment to providing superior customer service is essential.
• A Class A or B CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements is preferred or the ability to obtain one quickly and efficiently is required.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check.
• Must be a citizen, lawful permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
