Job Summary
Hilltop Supply and Hardwood LLC is seeking a Material Handler to support our operations team. Key responsibilities include loading/unloading deliveries, maintaining warehouse organization, and supporting delivery associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid with the loading, securing, and unloading of products during deliveries, ensuring goods are handled with care.
- Accompany Delivery Associates on routes as needed to support accurate product transport and customer service.
- Verify all merchandise and documentation prior to dispatch and upon return.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company standards.
- Conduct routine checks on product handling equipment and report any issues to the Warehouse Manager.
- Support the Warehouse Manager with daily operational tasks, including inventory movement and material staging.
- Adhere to delivery timelines and warehouse schedules with efficiency and reliability.
- Perform duties in a labor-intensive setting that requires self-direction and the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job site are required.
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory—training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude when engaging with team members and customers.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the workday.
- Capable of multitasking and maintaining accuracy in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
- Basic familiarity with GPS systems, mobile time tracking tools, and general warehouse equipment.
- Must pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
