How Will You Make an Impact?
As a Material Handler II at our Gurnee, IL facility, you will support stockroom and manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient movement of materials. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory integrity, supporting production schedules, and executing warehouse transactions with a strong focus on quality and process adherence.
What Will You Do?
- Cook up and execute the movement of materials to support manufacturing production schedules.
- Perform physical and system transactions for material replenishment across production areas.
- Support movement of materials to non-production areas such as shipping, parts prep, and office functions.
- Utilize RF scanners and ERP systems to accurately complete inventory transactions.
- Operate material handling equipment as required.
- Maintain proper bin management and FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Return unused materials from manufacturing to the stockroom using RF systems.
- Properly dispose of scrap materials according to established procedures.
- Pull materials for purge activities and inventory adjustments as needed.
- Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Verify all material movements and documentation to ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all safety, health, and company security policies.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
How Will You Get Here?
- Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in materials handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environments required.
- Experience with ERP systems and RF scanning strongly preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Working knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Ability to perform accurate ERP transactions using RF scanners and computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and support basic problem-solving.
- Ability to follow standardized work instructions and procedures.
- Basic math skills, including calculations and percentages.
- Ability to read and understand instructions, documentation, and visual aids.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills with team members and leadership.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Range
The hourly pay range for this role is $17.12 - $30.82. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
