Door Supervisors

Responsibilities

• Access Control
  • Check IDs and verify the age of customers (especially in bars, clubs, or age-restricted venues).
  • Control entry to prevent overcrowding.
  • Maintain a guest list and enforce VIP or reservation policies.
• Security Monitoring
  • Patrol entrance areas, exits, and surrounding premises.
  • Monitor for suspicious or potentially dangerous behavior.
  • Respond quickly to incidents or disturbances.
• Conflict Management
  • Handle disputes or altercations professionally and calmly.
  • De-escalate tense situations before they become physical.
  • Evict disruptive or intoxicated individuals safely.
• Health & Safety
  • Ensure emergency exits are clear and accessible.
  • Assist in emergency evacuations.
  • Report hazards or unsafe conditions to management.
• Reporting
  • Keep incident logs and write detailed reports of any security breaches or incidents.
  • Liaise with law enforcement if required.
• Customer Service
  • Provide guidance to visitors and answer questions politely.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor to encourage a safe environment.
