About the role
The Residences at Rainier Square has an immediate opening for a Door Person. This position is responsible for managing the entrance and ensuring the security of our building. This role will be the first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors, providing a welcoming presence and offering assistance as needed, and ensuring security and emergency situations are handled calmly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet residents, guests, and visitors, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Monitor and control access to the building, verifying the identity of individuals, and ensuring only authorized entry.
- Maintain a visible presence at the entrance to enhance security and deter unauthorized access.
- Receive, log, and distribute packages, mail, and deliveries to residents in a timely and secure manner.
- Maintain detailed logs of visitor arrivals, deliveries, and any unusual activities or incidents.
- Assist residents and visitors with information, directions, and local area services.
- Coordinate with other staff, such as maintenance and security, to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the entrance and lobby area.
- Greet prospects and residents as they enter the office/leasing area and ensure the comforts of prospects and visitors while they wait to speak with a team member.
- Answer phone calls, routes all calls to the appropriate team member.
- Maintain the guest suite schedule to ensure proper payment and cleanliness upon guest arrival.
- Ensures clubhouse amenities are in tour condition prior to leasing office opening each morning.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and someone who can interact with a diverse group of people.
- Professional in dress & communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Knowledge about the neighborhood to assist residents and guests.
- Proficiency in using computers, internet, and basic software.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00.
