About the role

A Manhattan-based luxury real estate company is seeking an experienced Doorperson for its Brooklyn, Long Island City, and Manhattan luxury rental building portfolio. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Doorperson in a residential building or a related security position, along with strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents
• Screen and announce guests
• Enforce building security
• Accept and manage packages
• Answer phones
• Enter information into building-managing portal
• Perform some Porter work as required
• Occasional heavy lifting (50+ lbs.)

Requirements

• Three (3) or more years of Doorperson or Security experience (residential building experience preferred)
• Ability to speak and write clearly
• Capability to pay close attention to detail
• Flexible work availability, including overtime as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Experience using a computer on the job (BuildingLink.com experience is a plus)

Pay

• 0-12 months: $22.3320 per hour (75% of the full wage rate)
• 12-24 months: $25.3096 per hour (85% of the full wage rate)
• 24+ months: $29.7760 per hour (100% of the full wage rate)
