Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and implement creative strategies to attract, manage, and retain potential blood drive Sponsors and feeder groups to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual collection goals.
- Identify and apply appropriate methods to ensure efficient scheduling of blood drives by assigned Sponsors to meet blood collection goals.
- Provide organizational and operational support to sponsor contacts to ensure achievement of collection operation and annual goals.
- Coordinate activities with collections personnel to ensure a positive Sponsor and donor experience and smooth, efficient operations.
- Schedule and implement education programs for Sponsor contacts, recruitment committees, line volunteers, and volunteer Telerecruiters to meet collection objectives and comply with ARCBS directives, Code of Federal Regulations, and local operating procedures.
- Develop a working knowledge of the community, its government, demographics, and organizations to enhance servicing of Sponsor groups and expansion of the blood program.
- Maintain accurate records in the system to provide tracking and statistical data on Sponsor group performance.
- Utilize tools, technology, and strategies provided by the organization to enhance customer service, efficiency, and productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum one-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and program implementation is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training and presentation abilities.
- Current valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to work collaboratively on a team.
Pay
Salary range: $47,000 – $62,700, plus monthly bonus incentive.

Schedule
This is an individual contributor role that works under close supervision, primarily in a business office environment with moderate noise (e.g., computers, phones, and printers).
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work in a small cubicle and sit at a computer terminal for extended periods.
Travel may be required to sites throughout the Red Cross organization.
