About the role

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a detail-oriented and critical-thinking individual to serve as a Donor Ministries Representative. In this role, you will interact with the public and donors via telephone, correspondence, and tours, using your communication and interpersonal skills to advance the Gospel worldwide.

At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel is central to all we do. Each day begins with devotions and prayer for staff, volunteers, and global ministry efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Samaritan’s Purse
  • Interface with donors and the general public
  • Make outbound calls
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret donor requests
  • Meet or exceed ministry quality standards for professionalism, timeliness, accuracy, and compassion
  • Read, sort, and respond to emails in the info, giving, E-Update, and projects inboxes
  • Assist with donor events as a ministry representative
  • Process completed outgoing correspondence for the department, including quality checking and documentation in donor records
  • Participate in support of seasonal needs, special assignments, and promotional campaigns for the response team
  • Follow Samaritan’s Purse policies and procedures as outlined in the Policy Manual
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Four-year college or university degree and one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work with accuracy, confidentiality, insight, and professionalism when interacting with donors and other departments
  • Proficiency in ten software systems: DonorStudio, PayConex, WebServices, Avaya, Workfront, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and multiple web browsers
  • Able to read, write, and speak professionally in English

Pay

$20 - $26 per hour

Schedule

1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
