Seasonal Donor Ministries Representative
About the role
Are you a gifted communicator? Do you enjoy using your interpersonal skills for the glory of God? Samaritans Purse is seeking detail-oriented and critical-thinking individuals to serve as a Seasonal Donor Ministries Representatives with our Donor Ministries department in North Wilkesboro. As an Seasonal Donor Ministries Representative, you will have the opportunity to interact with the public and donors via telephone and email correspondence. Qualifications & Experience
- Four-year college or university program degree or one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work with accuracy, confidentiality, insight and professionalism for contact with donors and other departments
- Ability to learn and utilize diverse software (DonorStudio, PayConex, WebServices, Avaya, Workfront, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and multiple web browsers)
- Effective written and interpersonal communication skills
Responsibilities
In the role of an Seasonal Donor Ministries Representative, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
- Develop, maintain, and utilize thorough knowledge of Samaritan's Purse
- Interface with donors and general public
- Make outbound calls
- Apply critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to read and interpret donor requests
- Read, sort, and respond to email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Process completed outgoing correspondence for the department
- Participate in support of seasonal needs, special assignments, and promotional campaigns for the response team
