See Open Roles Back to Job Openings Domestic Violence Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator Chicago IL Apply Share Job Title: Domestic Violence Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator (#474) Reports to: Domestic Violence Deputy Supervisor Grade: 15 Level: Entry (This may vary for internal candidates only) Salary: $64,745 Status: Full-Time/Non-Union Location: 555 W Harrison Bureau: Administrative Services Application deadline: September 11, 2026 Working Environment: Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Primary Function: Coordinate Domestic Violence MDT project, including services provided via multi-disciplinary team approach as well as facilitate communication between SAO, social service providers, law enforcement, probation, and community members. Analyze statistical data and establish data collection plan. Manage the day-to-day operations of the MDT, including (but not limited to) planning, coordination, and communication of steering committee and special events. Physical Requirements: Light Work: The position requires the ability to stand or walk frequently, often for extended periods. You may need to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally heavier items. The job may also involve a significant amount of walking or standing relative to sedentary roles. Duties And Responsibilities: Coordinate all activities related to the Domestic Violence MDT project Collect and maintain statistics including but not limited to specific grant outcome reporting measurementsMaintain minutes, correspondence with current and potential new members, and regular updates to steering committeeCommunicate regularly with all partners, including personnel at the highest level of each partner agencyServe as support and liasion to all MDT partners, including the Chicago Police Department, Family Rescue, Lifespan, and Cook County Adult ProbationManage program contracts, ensuring that deadlines are metSet up and facilitate all meetings and all communication between members and follow up with action items to ensure completion prior to next meetingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports regarding program activity, as required.Assist with creation and development of program marketing including social media communication, blog posts, and program summaries for fundraising purposesOversee planning and implementation of cross training in which members of each steering committee agency become exposed to the basic policies and practices of the other core team agenciesOversee planning and implementation of formal training needs for all steering committee and MDT membersProvide support to monthly case reviews as led by prosecutor, ensuring that identified trends and practices are communicated to the DV steering committee.Coordinate and delegate tasks as well as develop deadlines to ensure efficiency and work with ICJIABuilding relationships with key community partners and responding to their concernsInteracts regularly with State’s Attorney’s Office employeesRegular interaction with law enforcement, social service agencies, community membersRegular access to highly confidential informationAnalyze data, identify trends, project outcomes and ensure compliance with logic models. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Required: The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant program (sociology, psychology, women’s studies or related field).The candidate must be an empathetic listener with knowledge of the rights of victims as defined by state and national law. Must have excellent grammar, organizational and communication skills.The candidate must be able to work flexible hours.Proficiency in Microsoft Word applications.The candidate must be versed in writing orders of protection and have at least 1yrs working experience with Domestic Violence cases.Candidate must have three years’ experience working with victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence or stalking as well as be forty-hour trained in domestic violence or sexual assault and have ability to demonstrate cultural competency. Candidate must be able to work independently, have the ability to multi-task, and be able to travel to various locations as needed. Preferred: Knowledge of CCSAO databases and/or ability to learn is important. Bilingual Proficiency (especially Spanish, Polish, Arabic).Knowledge of immigration law and relief issues preferred. Prior grant compliance and monitoring experience is preferred.
