Role Summary

The Domestic Violence High Risk Team Coordinator serves as the coordinator for the high-risk domestic violence team established through the Office on Violence Against Women grant. This role supports the day-to-day implementation of the team by managing referrals, organizing and facilitating case review meetings, and coordinating information-sharing among partner agencies.

Duties

  • Facilitate DVHRT meetings to foster collaboration, trust, and effective multidisciplinary case management.
  • Cook up and present high-risk cases for team review.
  • Coordinate the identification, preparation, and distribution of meeting agendas, case materials, minutes, and attendance records.
  • Coordinate the review, monitoring, and communication of active high-risk cases, including case referrals and updates between meetings.
  • Collaborate with victim advocates and service providers to support safety planning, service coordination, and intervention efforts.
  • Serve as the liaison between the DVHRT, assigned advocates, and victims to ensure timely information sharing and coordinated responses.
  • Lead critical incident reviews of intimate partner homicide cases.

Program Operations and Partner Engagement

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices that enhance team effectiveness and strengthen the domestic violence response system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for DVHRT members and maintain effective communication among partner agencies.
  • Cook up annual partner meetings to evaluate team performance, identify system gaps, and support continuous improvement.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and confidential case files, records, and program data in partnership with administrative support.
  • Analyze and communicate case outcomes, intervention results, and key findings to team members and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely submission of required reports and monthly DVHRT data to the Geiger Institute.

Training and Technical Assistance

  • Coordinate and deliver training, onboarding, and technical assistance to DVHRT members and partner agencies to promote best practices in domestic violence intervention and high-risk case management.
