About the role

The Education Specialist I is responsible for the implementation, delivery, and evaluation of a variety of educational programs that promote Dolphin Quest and its mission to protect marine animals and their environments.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere for Dolphin Quest guests in a fun, outdoor environment
• Provide sensational customer service while socializing with guests
• Implement educational programs that promote Dolphin Quest's mission
• Answer any questions guests may have
• Help when needed
• Work as a Host/Hostess during the pre-and post-dolphin experience

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, marine biology, or a related field
• Experience working with children and/or marine animals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Passion for marine conservation and animal welfare

Qualifications

• Knowledge of marine life and conservation issues
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people
• Strong organizational and time management skills
