Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting market data related to travel demand, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Support data organization and preparation of reports.
- Aid in testing new services, features, and operational processes.
- Collect and organize operational data (usage logs, customer feedback, GPS/MAP data).
- Identify and report operational issues and improvement opportunities.
- Support ongoing service enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Afford support to coordinating transportation services (airport transfer, trolley, shuttle, etc.)
- Support daily operations and data tracking related to services.
- Afford support to updating digital content and maintaining system data.
- Afford support to coordination with internal teams and vendors.
- Perform basic tasks related to digital platforms (content updates, data entry, testing support).
- Afford support to communication and coordination with business partners.
- Afford support to scheduling meetings and preparing materials.
- Afford support to following up on assigned tasks with internal and external stakeholders.
Secondary Functions
- Support company-wide events and initiatives by assisting with digital content and operational tasks.
- Assist with cross-functional projects as assigned.
- Participate in learning opportunities to develop knowledge in digital, mobility, and travel business areas.
- Provide support to management and other departments during peak periods or as needed.
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in administrative, digital, or support roles preferred.
- Basic communication skills in English and Japanese (verbal and written).
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.
- Basic interpersonal skills.
- Interest in travel, tourism, and digital services.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools or creative platforms is a plus.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Valid Hawaii driver’s license preferred.
Working Conditions
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday but may work afterhours, weekends and holidays as deemed necessary.
- Heavy overtime seasonally, periodically, and as required.
- Occasional travel to various locations outside of the office, including travel to neighbor islands, continental U.S., and/or abroad, where weather conditions may vary.
Physical and Mental Demands
- Must be able to frequently communicate with customers/co-workers/vendors over the phone, computer, or in person in Japanese and English.
- Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copier, printer, multi-line telephone system, cellular phone, facsimile machine, other standard office equipment, email, vehicle.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.
- Must be able to observe documents from computer screens.
- Must be able to operate heavy camera equipment during photo shooting.
- Occasionally lift and/or relocate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with aid of coworkers and handcarts.
- Subject to atmospheric conditions including: an air conditioned office, exhaust fumes, and dust.
