About the role

Aloha! Ready to trade the ordinary for an extraordinary adventure? Join an exotic animal sanctuary on Hawaii’s Big Island, where you’ll combine meaningful volunteer work with island living in one of the world’s most stunning natural settings.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on with a variety of exotic and native Hawaiian species—feeding, cleaning, maintaining habitats, and supporting enrichment activities.
• Gain experience in animal care and conservation, all while contributing to a safe, enriching environment for rescued animals.
• Enjoy two days off per week to discover beaches, volcanoes, and the beauty of Hawaiian nature.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18
• Passion and enthusiasm for conservation
• Not afraid to get wet!
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Minimum 2 weeks commitment
• Good English skills
• Necessary vaccinations
• Necessary flight & visas
• Full travel & medical insurance
