Document Imaging Specialist (Commercial)

About the role

The Imaging Specialist role is part of Iron Mountain's Operations team, dedicated to driving data integrity and supporting digital transformation. This position ensures the secure, accurate, and high-quality conversion of physical documents into digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Document Preparation: Process and prepare a high volume of hard copy records for scanning, ensuring all documents are correctly sorted and prepped for efficient conversion.
• Scanning Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain scanning equipment to accurately convert physical documents into digital images, following strict quality control and production standards.
• Data Indexing & Entry: Index and key critical data from documents into multiple software applications with a strong focus on detail and accuracy to ensure data integrity.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with all internal production procedures, security protocols, and client service level agreements to maintain document control and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Experience working within a high-volume production, administrative, or data entry environment.
• Strong knowledge of basic personal computer (PC) operations and computer-related products, alongside proficiency in reading and communicating in English.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a sustained, focused pace to meet production rates and quality targets.
• Physical capability to comfortably and regularly lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in scanning and data entry preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in using scanning equipment and software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Pay

$17.75 per hour, paid biweekly.

Schedule

Monday through Friday; 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime may be required).
