As a Document Control Professional, you’ll coordinate and administer document management activities relative to identification, control, and change documents directly related to the assigned project. You will track the life cycle of documents and records with all revisions, including Design documents, RFIs, and submittals. This position regularly interacts with internal Jacobs team members, client, and external consultant contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for setting up, managing, and maintaining the document control systems for all historical, incoming, and outgoing documents in support of the project.
  • Reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensuring that contract requirements are met.
  • Ensuring documents meet standards for production.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the document control systems implemented.
  • Assure project participants are trained in practical application of systems.
  • General administrative responsibilities within the document control function including data entry, providing training of new users, and maintaining internal process documentation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Document Control experience with nuclear, engineering, architectural, and construction documents (e.g., drawings, technical specifications, submittals, RFIs, etc.).
  • Proven experience with Aconex, SharePoint, industry-standard EDMS, and MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills and understanding of technical terminology.
  • Willing to travel within the US 25% of the time.
  • Must be willing to work in the office 2-3 days a week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preferred).

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $100,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Hybrid working policy allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations (2-3 days in the office per week).
