About the role

We are looking for a warm and engaging team member to become an integral part of our Flavor Factory. The Dock Coordinator is part of a dedicated team that manages vendor receiving and customer order shipments during our 1st Shift. With a dock-to-dock focus, you create balance across the daily traffic flow in our fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse facility.

You are Torani’s inbound and outbound ambassador, greeting truck drivers, vendors, and partners while organizing dock door availability and status. You check in drivers, note order status in the Warehouse Management System and OpenDock, and facilitate communication among shipping, receiving, and picking teams to support successful Torani service days.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound capacity to prioritize and plan receiving, shipping, and staging activities for Sauce and Syrup materials.
  • Ensure timely dock activity, meet driver turn time and shipping accuracy KPI targets, and assign materials to designated drop-off locations.
  • Operate systems such as Manhattan WMS to track truck turn time, assign dock doors, and document driver/inbound information.
  • Assist with forklift operation, load and unload goods, replenish manufacturing lines, and provide inventory counts.
  • Receive bulk ingredients including Granulated Sugar, Invert Sugar, and Corn Syrup to support Sauce and Syrup production.
  • Maintain a safe work environment with zero safety incidents, addressing hazards proactively.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, escalating issues and following up until resolved.
  • Participate in quality audits and speak confidently about operational processes and quality controls.
  • Ensure accurate shipping and receiving information, complete paperwork, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Organize small packages delivered to Torani and distribute them to team members.
  • Deliver commitments on time, demonstrate stellar attendance, and take initiative to improve processes in Transportation and Warehouse Operations.
  • Contribute to a fun, engaging team culture with a positive attitude and willingness to support others.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of warehouse experience.
  • 2 years of forklift driver experience with current certification (required).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems, scanner technology, and desktop data entry.
  • Previous experience loading trailers and shipments.
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic and mathematics.

Physical & Schedule Requirements

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift, 5:00 am–1:00 pm, plus overtime as needed.
  • Physical demands: Lift up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, bend, and twist for up to 8 hours.

Pay

$29.30 – $32.55 per hour.
